Sheldon McMurtry is a 20 year old art student at Volunteer State Community College. His charcoal studies from life primarily focus on capturing the essence of the subject through bold, expressive lines and tone. He has found that through his study of accuracy and form in his drawings, his studio has become a sanctuary for which he can envelope his mind in the creative process.
